Total QSR is now sponsoring Bath Rugby player Taulupe Faletau.

Wiltshire-based servicing specialist Total QSR has signed up to sponsor Taulupe Faletau, who plays for Bath Rugby, Wales and the British and Irish Lions.

Marketing manager Joanne Herridge commented: “Faletau is one of the most exciting back row players in world rugby and we are proud to be both associated and sponsoring him.

“Bath Rugby is our local club in the South West and the whole team here at Total QSR will be cheering Taulupe on throughout the season.”

She detailed: “We are sponsoring Taulupe as he is a high profile and international player. We believe it will give us the best exposure for us and also help promote the industry. He also a supporter of many local restaurants.

“It helps us support our local club and help with a bit more awareness of what we do at a local level but also hoping it will help share the benefits of us being a nationwide company, as games are televised and played across the country.”

Herridge reported that Total QSR is currently discussing ideas of how the company can use its virtual appearance to create more awareness of the catering equipment industry and the benefits of regular PPM visits.

The firm’s logo will be displayed on Faletau’s first team shirts and on the squad page of Bath Rugby’s website, the electronic matchday programme, on club channels if he scores and on the big screen when he is highlighted (when a partial crowd returns).

Herridge concluded: “The sponsorship agreement has also been a boost for our staff as the benefits are shared across the company.

“With sports and the hospitality sector hit hard this year we look forward to working with Taulupe and Bath Rugby and helping both sectors make a comeback very soon.”
