Toby Wand resigns from Fresh Montgomery to launch consultancy business


Toby Wand is leaving his position as managing director of Fresh Montgomery, the company behind industry trade shows such as Hotelympia and the Great Hospitality Show.  

Wand has been with the company for 12 years, but is stepping down to start his own exhibition consultancy business.

He joined Fresh RM, as it was at the time, in 2005 as the event director for Hotelympia. Over the years his role has expanded hugely to include the managing director role at Fresh Montgomery.

He has also headed up the hospitality portfolio of shows including Hotelympia, The Great Hospitality Show, IFEX, ScotHot & Independent Hotel show.

Damion Angus, group MD at Montgomery, said: “We are extremely sad to see Toby leave the business as a permanent employee. However, we are delighted that he will continue to support our growth by his ongoing involvement with the Salon Culinaire products and the launch of a new show in Belfast.”

He added: “Toby is deeply loved by his team and very well-known across the industry. I am sure they will all joining me in thanking him for his hard-work and passion. We wish him the very best of luck going forward.”
