Radford Chancellor Ltd has been named as one of only three catering consultancies on the latest Pro5 National Consultancy Framework.
With a joint buying power of £2 billion, Pro5 combines the expertise of the five largest professional buying organisations in the UK to facilitate public sector procurement decisions.
Brighton-based Radford Chancellor Ltd’s services can now be procured through the framework, which is valid until 14 January 2015.
The other two consultancies listed in the ‘Food and Catering’ section of the framework are Merritt-Harrison and Integrated Hotel Solutions, the latter of which was formed last February through a collaboration between Grant Thornton, TRI Hospitality Consulting and Vision Hospitality Asset Management.
The framework is designed to save public sector customers time and resources, as all listed suppliers have been vetted for their quality and experience in compliance with Public Contract Regulations guidelines.
Company director, Radford Chancellor, said: “We have been ‘pre-qualified’ for our suitability, health and safety polices, sustainability and financial security. Most importantly, we have demonstrated a solid track record in our sector. Customers have no need to undertake lengthy and costly EU-compliant procurement processes; all these formalities have been carried out by ESPO & PRO5.”
Chancellor said the company had already gained work since navigating its way through the tender process.
“Pro5 works with over 60 local government members to aid them with procurement and EU-compliant suppliers and consultants. We have already started working with two of the local government members,” he said.
