Foodservice Equipment Marketing (FEM) has added the Hamilton Beach Commercial HBH650 Tempest blender to its portfolio.
The blender uses Hamilton Beach Commercial’s patented wave action feature to force the contents to be blended continuously down onto the stainless steel blades, producing smooth drinks.
The Tempest is built to take the workload of busy bars, blending up a 16oz daiquiri in 12 seconds. Its 3hp motor and all-metal drive coupling are designed to cope with heavy usage. The HBH650 features two speeds, a jump cycle and pulse button for drink versatility, and a cool-down cycle to ensure continuous blending.
A timer with automatic cut-off facilitates precision blending and frees up operators for other tasks. A temperature gauge alerts the operator to any problems, while other safety features include a jar pad sensor, which turns the motor off when the container is not in place, and sure grip feet to prevent skidding.
The blender’s 1.8 litre stackable container is fitted with a filler cap so liquid can easily be added during blending. Suitable for front of house use, the blender measures 45.7cm(h) x 20.3cm(d) x 17.8cm. The unit is supplied with a 3 year parts and labour warranty.
