‘Team Vision’ is continuing its year of fundraising for The Christie charity by taking on Tough Mudder tomorrow, Saturday 7 September.
Vision Commercial Kitchens’ staff already completed two challenges earlier in the year; Gung Ho and most recently, Rough Runner.
Tough Mudder will challenge the team yet again as they face a muddy 5k complete with 13 obstacles. The team say they are very much looking forward to challenging themselves again in support of The Christie.
Steph Bryant from The Christie charity, said: “The team at Vision Commercial Kitchens have put in lots of hard work this year to raise funds and benefit the lives of our patients at The Christie. We can’t thank the team enough for their efforts in getting everyone involved through events like Tough Mudder. Thank you to Team Vision for the amazing support.”
The Christie is the largest single site cancer centre in Europe, treating more than 44,000 patients a year. Based in Manchester, it is expert in cancer care, research and education and has been pioneering cancer research breakthroughs for over 100 years.
The charity’s vital work would not be possible without the generosity of others and neither would the lifesaving hope it provides to their patients and their families.
