Derbyshire-based tableware firm Denby is re-launching to the hospitality market at next week’s Hotelympia show.
On stand 2237 at London’s ExCel from 5-8 March, the manufacturer will be showcasing its artisan collections.
The company is well placed to take advantage of the trend to move away from plain white, as it says it has over 200 years of design and craftsmanship to draw on to be experts in colour and reactive all over glazes that are claimed to be unique and hard wearing.
Denby stated: “Our Derbyshire stoneware clay is very strong and fully vitrified which gives it strength, durability and chip resistance. We are so confident that our tableware will withstand use in commercial restaurants and kitchens we offer the Denby 10 year ‘Edge Chip Warranty’.”
The ranges are designed to be attractive and practical, being tested to tough industry standards. Its plates and bowls are designed to stack; every item is claimed to be dishwasher, freezer, microwave and oven safe and its glazes are said to be strong.
With an extensive range of shapes and patterns (it has over 25 coupe plates) that complement how modern chefs are now presenting their dishes, Denby feels has a customer base that can use its tableware in their restaurants worldwide.
