Synergy Grill Technology’s Trilogy grill range has been awarded ‘Energy Efficiency Innovation in Heavy Catering Equipment’ by the Irish Foodservice Suppliers Alliance (IFSA).
A first of its kind in Ireland, the IFSA awards, held in Dublin on 4 February, aim to showcase the best innovation and technology new to the foodservice market. For 2020, the theme of the awards was “innovation for a sustainable future”, a focus which highlighted the industry’s response to the environmental crisis which suppliers are facing.
Two of Synergy’s major Irish dealers, Broderick Brothers and Bunzl McLaughlin, nominated the British manufacturer for the awards.
Justin Cadbury, chairman and CEO of Synergy Grill Technology, commented: “When we first heard the news that Synergy Grill Technology were to be nominated by not one, but two, of our Irish dealers for our energy efficiency credentials, we were extremely proud. It demonstrates the passion and expertise for delivering the best to their customers that these dealers had clearly developed for the Synergy brand and the Trilogy range.
“These great dealers have taken the challenge of giving their customers a better grill product like no other. Synergy not only delivers massive cash payback instantly, but also gives the diner a better food experience. Also the young really care about our sustainability credentials when they eat out. So we can look after everyone- chef, diner and environmentalist.”
Synergy Grill’s patented technology atomises any fat produced during grilling process. As the fat atomises, any moisture that comes from the food also turns into steam which penetrates back into the food.
This atomisation should also eradicate the need for a fat tray, and therefore, removes the historically strenuous task of cleaning, along with the environmentally damaging disposal of waste fat.
