Lansdell is no stranger to the catering industry having previously worked as a technical manager at one of the UK’s largest commercial catering companies.

In his previous role, he would support engineers with technical advice and assist with maintenance on a variety of commercial catering equipment.

Lansdell commented: “I joined Sylvester Keal as I felt my work had been completed at my previous company and wanted a fresh challenge.

“After meeting director, Martyn Keal, and general manager, Chris, I knew that Sylvester Keal was a company I wanted to join and I felt I could help build on the solid foundations, the fantastic reputation and commitment to clients that’s already in place.”

Since joining, Lansdell admits he is enjoying the daily variation. He said: “Every day is different at Sylvester Keal.

“The company as a whole is a big family. I enjoy working with the staff and whilst the role is challenging, I thrive on this and it is all worthwhile when the client rings up to thank you for the end result.

He added: “It really is fantastic to be able to put your own mark on a service department within a family business and further develop existing and new client relationships.”

Lansdell anticipates an exciting future ahead at Sylvester Keal, with expansion plans coming into shape for the beginning of 2020 and reveals he is most looking forward to developing the service department further.

He said: “I am excited to obtain new contracts while still keeping the core values of the business.”
