On 7 November the Swift Maintenance group will be taking part in the Winter Wolf Run, led by team leader Estelle Drake.
The team at Swift Maintenance, based in Wednesbury, wants to contribute to the fight against cancer having been touched on many occasions by this dreadful disease.
The Wolf Run is a wild, unique combination of three types of off-road running – namely mud runs, trail runs and obstacle runs.
The only Wild Run in the UK, it’s a hardcore 10k run across raw natural terrain, including open ground, woodland, lakes and thick mud.
The Swift Maintenance team is running as a pack called ‘Swiftly does it’ , tackling a series of tough obstacles together.
The run will test their mental and physical strength, skill and stamina.
They will be climbing, jumping, wading, crawling and swimming through a course designed to challenge them on every level.
To see how they get on follow them on their Facebook page here.
If you have been affected by cancer or know anybody that has and would like to donate please get in touch with the Swift Maintenance team on firstname.lastname@example.org or call them on 0121 505 4001.
