Swedish food transport equipment firm ScanBox has opened a UK branch.
Following the expansion of its export activities in recent times, the company felt the UK market merited greater investment in the form of a physical presence.
Area sales manager, Johan Olsson, said the firm is now looking to ramp up its distribution network.
“We see great potential for our products in UK and Ireland and are investing accordingly to catch those opportunities,” he explained. “Since a couple of months back we have a UK branch office called ScanBox UK & Ireland that will work actively on the market supporting our local dealers.”
ScanBox says the move will allow it to introduce its ‘Signature’ bespoke service to the UK market, which allows customers to customise the exterior of their trolleys.
The manufacturer is also introducing a completely new glass door for its transport trolleys, which uses LED lighting to present the food in an eye-catching way.
“We are focusing on providing a lightweight, easy to use product and maintain but still keeps food quality at its very best,” said Olsson.
ScanBox has been developing insulated food transport equipment with a focus on ergonomics and safety for more than 20 years. All its products are developed and built at its factory in Olofstrom, Sweden.
