Stephensons has appointed a salesman to specifically sell catering supplies into customers based in the Lake District.
The Stockport-based company is keen to boost the amount of trade it does in Cumbria and hopes that Nik Koroneos will be able to help it unlock new accounts in the region.
Koroneos takes on the newly-created role with a brief to advise customers on products and ranges best suited to their business across all types of hospitality and catering outlets in the area.
He has been working in catering equipment sales for the last three years, but prior to that worked with food and wine suppliers.
Henry Stephenson, managing director of Stephensons, said: “We are pleased to be in a position where we have been able to create this new role. We understand that focusing on any region, not least the Lake District, requires a special set of expertise, something Nik has in abundance.”
Stephensons offers a wide range of restaurant and bar equipment, light kitchen catering equipment, tableware janitorial products and paper and disposables.
Earlier this year it expanded its warehouse by a third by purchasing neighbouring unit space.
