A Warrington-based services start-up with skills in refrigeration maintenance is bidding to build a business in the commercial catering sector.
Atlantice Services was recently set up by director Ben Fogg after he returned from a six-month tour of Afghanistan with his local Royal Engineer regiment last year.
Having worked for a refrigeration company prior to his time in the forces, he decided to attain his F-gas registration and establish his own business operating in the renewable energy installation, refrigeration and air conditioning sectors.
Employing a full-time project manager and six regular sub-contractors, the company is looking to make its presence felt in the refrigeration and air conditioning sector.
“Within the commercial catering marked we have serviced, repaired, maintained and installed various types of refrigeration and air conditioning units for a variety of companies,” said Fogg.
“Currently, we are finalising our service and maintenance plans and we can also tailor these plans to suit, so if a unit does fail the catering company can have the confidence that it will be dealt with in a fast, affordable and reliable manner.”
Fogg said Atlantice hasn’t nailed its colours to a particular manufacturer’s mast, but instead prefers to give customers a selection of brands to choose from when carrying out installation work.
He added that the company was looking to strengthen its brand nationally, not just in the North-West, and had ambitious plans to establish the business as quickly as possible.
“Eventually we would like to be a household name within the commercial catering industry and be the company that first springs to mind regarding refrigeration,” he said.
