Standex Food Service Equipment is expected to outline its UK leadership plans later this week in the wake of the departure of managing director Steve Loughton.
Loughton’s last day at the Theale-based combination oven and prime cooking equipment manufacturer was on Friday.
Loughton had been running Standex’s UK operations for the past three years, building on the company’s traditional strength in the retail market but also increasing the volume of work that it did through the distribution channel.
Prior to that he spent a decade at Manitowoc, formerly Enodis UK Food Service.
Standex confirmed it would announce its succession plans later this week.
It is understood that an executive from the company’s US operation will be coming over to lead the business.
