Standex in the market for UK sales manager


Standex Food Service Equipment is looking to strengthen its UK team with the appointment of a sales manager.

The Theale-based manufacturer, which is part of the global Standex International Corporation, manages a range of commercial cooking brands including BKI, APWyott, Bakers Pride, Tri-Star and BevLes.

Standex is aiming to hire someone who can manage the development of new and existing distributor partners, end-customers and key accounts to drive sales growth in support of its organisational goals.

Main tasks will include project management, developing new business opportunities and creating an annual sales plan for the foodsevice business. The post will also involve launching new products and services in the market and working closely with other team members of the Standex UK and US team to achieve defined goals.

Standex said the vacancy would suit someone with a minimum of five years professional experience in a kitchen environment or sales capacity and with a high motivation and willingness to learn and expand existing knowledge, especially in the area of thermal food preparation.
