Sprint wraps up latest equipment supply project with Tortilla

Sprint Group has supplied and installed equipment for fast-growing burrito chain Tortilla’s latest site in Canterbury, Kent.

Sprint supplied the new back-of-house kitchen equipment and front-of-house servery counter with backbar facility behind.

Project director, Tony Dickinson, said: “This is sure to be a very busy site with there being three universities in Canterbury as well as various colleges.”

Sprint has worked on a number of Tortilla’s stores in the UK as it has grown to more than 60 sites.

The equipment installed by Sprint Group at the site includes ovens from Unox, warewashers from Classeq and refrigeration from Williams and Gram. It also provided bespoke fabrication.

The new restaurant is based in the city centre, on the former STA Travel unit. It is set to open at the end of November.
