Pershore-based distributor Sprint Group has delivered one of its most interesting projects for 2021.
The firm was tasked with designing, supplying and installing an open-plan kitchen, satellite kitchen and bar for the Engine Rooms, a foodservice outlet within car showroom Hexagon Classics in Finchley. Sprint worked alongside chef consultant Steve Pooley to deliver the project.
The facility will open in early August. The Mediterranean-inspired menu includes stone-baked pizzas which will be cooked on an authentic, wood-fired pizza oven from Gozney.
The black enamel Waldorf Suite cook line from Blue Seal United Kingdom was adapted to accommodate a Robata grill in order to offer chargrilled food. Other suppliers included Precision Refrigeration, Meiko UK and Rational.
As well as enjoying the best of seasonal British ingredients, diners will be able to ‘feast’ their eyes on an array of classic cars. The indoor space is complemented by an outdoor heated courtyard with electric canopy roof, allowing for all year dining.
