Two new recruits have joined Pershore-based distributor Sprint Group as part of its recent expansion.
Ian Jones is now head of service, while Dean Moore has come onboard as technical manager.
Jones joined the group from Francis Commercial Kitchen Services and will drive forward the business’ vision to implement planned preventative maintenance (PPM) offering a structured service plan of equipment.
He said: “I’m excited about joining such a reputable and established company and being able to play a role in the future development of the group.”
Moore has been recruited due to his extensive experience in engineering roles with Severn Catering and Hobart. As technical manager, Jones is set to engage the distributor’s engineers in reinforcing the safety and training aspects of the role, aiming to increase the engineers’ awareness and ability to diagnose and fix equipment – rather than it being unnecessarily condemned.
Sprint Group is currently celebrating 25 years of trading and is expanding its operations, aimed at forging its way as a future innovators and industry leader in the design and installation of commercial kitchens and bars.
Together with their new recruits, the team aims to be the ‘go to’ environmentally aware company for design, install and maintenance in the catering community.
