Foodservice equipment software firm Specifi is now offering its proprietary custom digital asset management system Specifi Organiser to industry manufacturers and equipment dealers.
VP of sales, Nic Banner, said: “Our manufacturer and dealer partners tell us they are constantly trying to control the costs of bad product data.

Specifi Organiser is a secure, cloud-based, collaborative system that provides what the software provider terms as a single “source of truth” throughout a business. It is free for all manufacturers and also for dealers who utilise the Specifi Quote quotation platform.
Utilising Organiser should allow dealers to create their own library of products, whether they are their own manufactured products or those from other manufacturers. Organiser allows dealers to optimise their own portfolios to the greatest potential.

Users upload .DWG and .RFA files, images, spec sheets, manuals, videos and other types of files. The system comes with customisable templates made specifically for foodservice equipment manufacturers and dealers. A ‘What’s Missing’ tool allows users to instantly know what data is needed. Organiser allows users to manage in multiple currencies and dimensions. Users can also take advantage of advanced search features to instantly find what they’re looking for.
“This eliminates all issues with engineering having one data set and sales going to market with another,” Banner added.
For external data distribution needs, Specifi is offering Organiser +, which instantly makes updated information available to Specifi’s network of thousands of consultants, designers and dealers. Organiser + also allows users to create price lists and spec sheets on the fly and allow guest access to partners.
