Specifi has expanded the speaker line up for its online trade show, vNext, taking place from 10am-2pm on Wednesday 30 September.
During the day, Nathan Evans, food operations manager at pub chain SA Brain & Co, will be interviewed by Andrew Seymour, editorial director at Catering Insight’s sister publication, Foodservice Equipment Journal.
Another addition will be Keith Warren, FEA chief executive, in conversation with FCSI UK chairman Matthew Merritt-Harrison.
These join UK Hospitality CEO Kate Nicholls giving her outlook on the major sectors of the foodservice industry, while Sprint Group sales director Ian Bryant will be interviewed by Catering Insight editor, Clare Nicholls, on commercial kitchen design’s current state and future.
vNext has also teamed up with charity, Hospitality Action, with respected celebrity chef Heston Blumenthal giving a special presentation of his “Triple-Cooked Invisible Chips” recipe, a fundraiser for foodservice professionals impacted by the effects of the current pandemic.
The online event will also feature real-time networking and an immersive virtual exhibition and marketplace, where products and projects can be shown in 360 detail.
Attendees will have the opportunity to network with each other real-time, ask questions directly to speakers, explore ‘pods’ in the virtual exhibition, browse products and interact real-time with exhibitors.
Exhibitors will be able to showcase products, chat with prospective customers and track all leads, which will be supplied immediately after the event.
