Space Group’s commercial director Kenn Tagg will be retiring from the catering equipment industry this year.
He revealed that he will be handing over his full-time duties to his colleagues at the Gloucester-based kitchen design house at the beginning of April.
However, it will be a phased retirement, as he will be then working a 2-day week until autumn, with a final date in September to be agreed.
Known for his keen interest in new technology, Tagg spends much of his time looking outwards into the market and feeding the latest information back to Space’s sales and project management teams.
In total, he has spent 36 years in the catering equipment industry, 17 of those at Space itself, following a 15-year stint at Lockhart Catering Equipment between 1984 and 2000.
Tagg detailed that he is “bowing out for personal/family reasons” and thanked his industry colleagues for their “patience and understanding when dealing with me during these years”
