Sous Vide Tools is tapping into a wealth of industry knowledge after announcing it will be working with well known chef/consultant Steve Wooldridge.

A classically trained chef, and former Nisbets and Lockhart equipment expert, Wooldridge specialises in sourcing imaginative products as well as designing and building concepts for catering and hospitality end users through key distributors, counting blue chip operators such as Marks & Spencer, London Zoo and the Tower of London amongst his clientele.

As well as raising awareness of Sous Vide Tools’ extensive product range, Wooldridge will also be providing focused sales support and bespoke sous vide training schools.

“The wealth and experience that Steve brings furthers our ambition to become the perfect sous vide solution for distributors, design houses and key end users,” said Sous Vide Tools’ MD, Alex Shannon.

“By partnering Steve’s account management experience with the culinary skills of our chef director Chris Holland we believe we have created the ideal team.”

Wooldridge commented: “During my 20 years plus in the hospitality sector I have been fortunate enough to build up a fantastic portfolio of contacts that includes distributors, key end users, fantastic development chefs and chef directors.

“Many of them are looking to source and supply equipment and concepts for front and back of house operations but don’t know where to look, what to buy and whether they are paying the right price, which is where I come in.

“Working with Sous Vide Tools my aim is to help distributors and end users, both old and new, source the right products at the right price and, where required, work with them from start to finish on developing equipment concepts.”
