The Sous Vide Tools management team has launched a sister company called Social Distancing Tools, which has been created to meet the demand for products related to social distancing within the hospitality sector specifically, and the wider workplace in general.

The new business has its own e-commerce website where visitors can shop for a range of products, including: PPE, hand sanitisers, dispensers, wash stations, screens, signage, and air and UV sterilisers. There are also products for companies who need to provide a safe and hygienic takeaway and/or home delivery service.

The products and pack sizes have been selected to ensure that the range is suitable for everyone, including end-users looking to buy in small quantities and dealers who want to buy in bigger pack sizes and larger volumes. For example, hand sanitiser is available in sizes ranging from single bottles of 100ml up to 5litre containers.

Commenting on the launch of the new business, MD Alex Shannon said: “Hygiene and food safety play a big part in sous vide cooking so launching a business with a range of products aimed at helping operators to trade safely in the current crisis was not as big a leap as you might think.

“Using existing contacts and suppliers we have been able to create a one-stop shop containing what we believe to be the most comprehensive range of Covid-19 related hygiene and safety products on the market. And, most importantly, we are able to offer excellent stock availability across all items.”
