The company, which offers Foodtek, Sous Vide Supreme and Vac-Star, is winning business beyond its traditional customer base of fine dining kitchens as the cooking technique goes mainstream.
A combination of simple recipes, consistent results and minimal food wastage are catching the eye of outlets ranging from pubs to upmarket cafes, says Sous Vide Tools.
The latest additions to the product line up are designed for the lighter loads and smaller kitchens typical of pubs and delis. It includes the Vac-Star Mini-Vac, a light duty vacuum packer ideal for pubs and delis; the Vac-Star 9-litre compact water batch, which takes up minimal counter space; and the Foodtek Sous Vide Thermal Circulator Platinum, which is a mountable thermal circulator that turns almost any vessel into a stirred water bath.
