Modular medium and heavy duty equipment manufacturer Silko has launched the Evolution line for cooking in confined spaces.
Designed for smaller venues that are looking to evolve, from bars and restaurants to high end retail stores, the suite can cope with up to 70 covers.
The cook suite measures 2,000mm and comprises a 3mm one piece hygienic top for rigidity and easy cleaning. The top appliances are fixed and not interchangeable. “By only using the appliances shown, this allows us to keep our pricing competitive,” said Nigel Thomas of Chef Line Solutions, the UK importer of the Silko brand.
On the top the suite comprises: a fryer, a multifunction plancha, two zone induction, a sink with a hand shower and fitted waste disposal and a pasta cooker. All of this plus a door light special feature requires a 23kW power supply.
To complement the cook suite Silko has also produced a one piece tower comprising a six-grid combination oven with a refrigerator underneath.
Chef Line Solutions says that both units are easy to install, with only a single cable plug used for each.
