Showroom visit convinces Inspire to add Josper

Inspire Commercial Kitchen Solutions has expanded its product range to include charcoal ovens as it looks to tap growing demand for energy efficient catering equipment.

The Stockton-on-Tees outfit, which commenced trading this time last year, plans to offer its customers Josper ovens after recently paying a visit to the showroom of Jestic, the prime importer for the brand in the UK.

Chris Stoker, owner of Inspire, believes the enclosed charcoal-fired grill — which is aimed squarely at the professional hotel and catering sector — will sit well in the company’s portfolio.

“We are always looking for new ideas and products to promote, especially products which save the client rising energy costs,” he explained. “The units are run purely on charcoal without the use of gas or electric — you can’t get more energy efficient than that. We have sold the traditional gas-fired charcoal grills before, but not this type of product.”

Inspire has already created marketing literature around the range which it will distribute to new and existing clients in a bid to highlight its availability.

Stoker says the firm is already partnering with a number of key equipment names and will look to build alliances with more manufacturers that can bring something new to its offering.

“We work with brands such as Rational, Foster, Blue Seal, Falcon, Imperial, Victor Manufacturing and many more, and we will continue to look for new brands that we feel will be a benefit to our clients,” he said. “Inspire is just coming to the end of its first year and we want to be seen as a company that is moving forward with new ideas.”

Inspire specialises in commercial kitchen design and catering equipment supply, including extract and air input systems.
