Display case glass manufacturer Showmaster has built a completely new website, after renewing its product portfolio.
As not all of the products fitted the company’s current customer profile, it reports it had to change its approach to find customers that they would appeal to.
Products included bakery shelving, retrofit doors, UV bonded display units and others, available for the catering and refrigeration industry.
As the product range changes so often, its previous catalogue and website would quickly become out of date. With the new format customers can download new brochures, the complete catalogue and see all of the latest developments Showmaster is involved in.
The company believes customers are now up to speed with any developments and that the information is easy to access.
On top of this, the demise of some of OEMs meant that people did not know where to get replacement parts, in particular curved glass and hot plates. However, Showmaster’s parts service could mean that display cases that people think are obsolete and have to be thrown out could be saved and used again.
Due to the pandemic, the supplier reports that there suddenly became a demand for its sneeze screens as they are designed to be easily fitted, aesthetically pleasing, food safe and produced in a short timeframe.
Showmaster partners with major European suppliers and it is always working with them to develop new products such as the Vieler glass tilt forward range.
It is also the UK supplier for Cisaplast energy saving doors for both chillers and freezers and has supplied thousands of these units over the last 5 years.
Showmaster has products in major retailers such as Tesco, Morrisons, Marks and Spencer, Selfridges, Sainsburys, Co-Op and the Spar. It also has involvement with its energy-saving doors from the likes of Coca-Cola.
