CEDA has announced the shortlisted entries for its annual Grand Prix Awards ahead of the association’s 2014 conference in Burton upon Trent in April.
The awards are designed to recognise and reward outstanding achievement among CEDA’s 80-plus distributor members.
This year, there are four main categories — large, medium and small project awards, as well as a customer service accolade.
Eleven different catering equipment distributors are in with a chance of winning an award.
Former Foster sales director John Savage and former Howell Cummings project manager Brian Booth are judging the entries once again and have spent many hours sifting through all the information they have received.
As the categories for this year’s awards have been changed, there were a higher number of entries in the small and medium projects categories than usual.
The shortlist for these two categories therefore contains more companies than usual due to the difficulty the judges had in whittling down the entries.
The winners will be announced at the CEDA Conference, which is taking place on April 3-4 at St George’s Park.
