Shine has been recognised for its health and safety standards in its manufacturing, design and outfitting processes.

Shine Catering Systems has achieved the sought after ISO 45001 certification within 6 months of the migration period.

The Newport-based distributor believes this demonstrates how much commitment the whole company contributes to health and safety within the construction industry.

Compliance manager Lee McArdle said: “The management system we have created in the company perfectly aligns our ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 14001:2015 accreditations and is now complimented by ISO 45001:2018.

“Our system simplifies managing and auditing our ISOs; BSI auditors have complimented us on many occasions for our interactive management system.”

This interactive management system was built in-house to provide seamless direction for the requirements for all company ISOs.

McArdle added: “This helps in keeping track of our requirements as a company to cover the aligned ISO 9001, 14001, and now 45001. Because of a strict management regime of the front end the results fall into the back end automatically for audits and compliance monitoring.”
