Sheffield-based distributor Concura Catering Equipment is to be wound up voluntarily.
Catering Insight contacted nearby liquidators, Wilson Field, which stated: “Sheffield-based catering company Concura Catering Equipment Limited ceased trading.
“Insolvency practitioners Andy Wood and Robert Dymond of Wilson Field were appointed on 6 May 2016 as joint liquidators.”
This appointment followed a meeting of the dealer’s creditors at Wilson Field’s Sheffield offices.
Catering Insight also contacted Concura’s director, Stephen Smith, but he declined to comment.
Smith established the dealership in September 2007, and on its website the company states that as well as offering the design, installation and maintenance of any commercial kitchen, it provided flooring, ceilings, wall finishes, electrical works, plumbing, energy savings, tax savings, full architectural involvement and full building works.
Projects completed over the last 9 years include for West Bromwich Albion Football Club, Alpha Hospital in Bury, Pegasus School in Caldwell, Staveley Residential Community Care Centre in Derbyshire and Wortley Hall in Sheffield.
Further testimonials on its website come from Manchester Conference Centre, Lincoln University, Galliford Try Special Projects and Vinci Facilities.
