Serviceline will take on Dawson's former engineering team.

Ali Group recently announced the intention to reposition the UK distribution of the brands currently sold via Dawson MMP.

A key part of this arrangement will see the Dawson field service team transferring to Serviceline, a trading division of the AFE Group, and with them, the skills knowledge and expertise on the products and brands they support.

Catering Insight contacted the maintenance specialist, which stated: “Serviceline is working closely with Dawson MMP throughout the transfer process to ensure robust and effective service support arrangements continue.

“Serviceline already operates an extensive national network of over 100 skilled engineers supporting all areas of commercial cooking, warewash and refrigeration equipment for the commercial catering industry. Carrying extensive ISO accreditations to underpin the quality, safety, environmental and energy management standards that are all more frequently demanded by foodservice industry clients.

“The addition of Dawson engineers will further enhance and complement the support and service offered to the foodservice industry throughout the UK.”

The rest of the Dawson-managed brands will also be redistributed, with Lainox to be supplied by fellow AFE Group member, Falcon, Comenda warewashers heading into the Hubbard Systems portfolio and Rosinox, Mareno and Rendisk supplied to the UK market from factory direct sales.
