Stevenage-based catering equipment maintenance company Serviceline is to sponsor the Springboard ‘Education Pipeline’ Award.
The Springboard Charity helps young, the unemployed and those facing barriers to work into sustainable employment in the hospitality, leisure and tourism industry and is holding its awards night in November.
The Education Pipeline Award recognises a team from any hospitality organisation that provides not only a continuous stream of education opportunities for apprentices and trainees, but also ensures that this continues during their early years in the workplace.
“Serviceline’s long-term investment in its own apprenticeship programme includes sponsoring the ‘Education Pipeline Awards’ which fits perfectly with our philosophy of continual learning and support for all Serviceline employees,” said MD, Steve Elliott.
“We found the key to successful apprenticeships is the on-going nurturing of talent throughout their formal education years, and on into the world of work, where we constantly challenge all of our people to develop more skills as they progress in their careers.”
