Service firm slashes maintenance rates by 20%

C&C Catering Engineers is offering customers a discounted rate of 20% on new maintenance contracts taken out before the end of August.

The firm has unveiled the price offer as part of a campaign to highlight the importance of upholding gas safety certificates.

Annual gas safety inspections are required by law in any commercial property, but C&C is also recommending a bi-annual maintenance inspection in environments that might use gas appliances on a regular basis, such as busy commercial kitchens.

Stuart Day, one of the Flintshire-based company’s engineers, said the pricing promotion would hopefully provide organisations with an incentive to ensure they are adhering to gas safety regulations.

“Simple preventative measures can save money and most importantly, ensure that these appliances are safe and fit for purpose,” said Day. “If regular inspections are not undertaken, problems can arise, such as a dangerous production of carbon dioxide through poor ventilation.”

C&C said its 12-month maintenance contract ensures all gas appliances used by customers are checked to ensure they comply with safety requirements.
