Nisbets will open a second store in London next week, four years after it first established a retail presence in the capital by acquiring Pages.
The new outlet is located in Commercial Street, Tower Hamlets, three miles from its existing premises in Shaftesbury Avenue.
When the store officially opens for business on Monday it will be the fifth that Nisbets operates in the UK. Earlier this year it launched a store in Leeds, its largest to date.
The new East London store is only two-minutes from Spitalfields Market and a 10-minute walk from Liverpool Street Station, which the company says will make it easily accessible to local caterers that don’t want to wait for a delivery.
It will even offer a ‘Call, Pay & Collect Service’, meaning customers can order over the phone, and then collect in store, usually within one hour.
Simon O’Mahony, marketing director at Nisbets, said: “Feedback from our customers indicates that they like to have the opportunity to see and feel the products, which is why having a retail presence close to a vibrant food service area in London is key to continuing our excellent levels of service.”
Split over two floors, the store is packed with over 3,000 catering products from brands such as Waring, KitchenAid, ChefWorks, Dynamic, Santos and Samsung, as well as its own line of products under the Buffalo, Polar, Athena and Olympia brands.
Like other Nisbets outlets, the store will be open between 9.30am and 5.30pm on Mondays to Saturdays. It will be closed on Sundays.
