Unitech Industries sister firms Scomac Catering Equipment and Corsair have partnered on a project at the Telegraph building in Coventry.

Home to the city’s newspaper for more than 50 years, the building has now been converted into the modern 88 room Telegraph Hotel which is opening this spring as lockdown restrictions ease.

The dealer specified Corsair’s Vortex Airstream canopy for ventilation in the main kitchen. The unit incorporates perforated supply diffusers to introduce make up air to the kitchen and induction slots to improve capture performance.

The canopy also works round the large structural column, and benefits from low energy recessed LED light fittings to ensure a safe working environment.

To complete the installation, Corsair also supplied the custom designed services distribution unit to house the mechanical and electrical services and the integral automatic fire suppression system.
