Sammic strikes out at vacuum packing market

Sammic has announced it is expanding its range of commercial vacuum packing machines with the launch of a double chamber, tilting cover system.

Each chamber in the 6000 series of vacuum packing machines is equipped with two 662mm-longsealing bars, making them suitable for high production needs.

The SV-6000 series consists of two models: SV-6100 with a 100 m3/h Busch vacuum pump and SV-6160 with a 155 m3/h Busch vacuum pump. Both models are available with or without connection to inert gas.

All double chamber models’ functions are controlled by a microprocessor, which allows for controlling the exact desired vacuum percentage in the chamber.

Sammic says the double seal facility improves the quality of the package and the cordless sealing bars are easy to remove for cleaning and maintenance.

The digital control board is equipped with LEDs that indicate each cycle stage while performing and a ‘stop’ key allows the interruption of the cycle at any stage, moving on to the next step.

The company added that its double chamber vacuum packing machines are delivered complete with four filling plates, which help to place the product in the right position while shortening evacuation time.
