Sammic’s new AX and UX lines are on show at Host 2021.

Sammic unveiled the latest evolution of its warewashing offerings at the Host trade show in Milan over the weekend.

The new AX and UX lines are designed for washing efficiency, hygiene and ergonomics, resource efficiency and reliability.

Both series are available in glasswasher, front-loading dishwasher and pass-through types, with enhanced loading capacity. Both the glasswashers, with 300mm usable height, and the front-loading dishwashers, with 380mm usable height, can double stack racks, with the latter type and the pass-throughs (430mm usable height) able to accommodate GN 1/1 trays.

All models feature deep-drawn wash chambers, including basket guides deep-drawn and integrated into the body of the machine for improved hygiene and structural robustness. Plus this feature creates a more ergonomic design with rounded corners to prevent dirt accumulation and facilitate cleaning.

Furthermore, new hydroblade arms combine Sammic’s linear design with monoblock construction to provide higher washing efficiency and lower water consumption. Water usage during rinsing is said to be reduced by 30%.

A three-stage filtering system combines an ‘easy-on’ surface filter to retain heavy dirt, capturing up to 80% of the waste, while the tank filter has a larger capacity for blocking medium-sized debris. Finally, the extraction filter blocks the lightest dirt without affecting the suction of the washing pump.

The AX, or Active range has been developed with the aim of making the latest warewashing technologies available to operators but in an easy to use format. Its control panel is simple and enables intuitive feedback using icons with which the operator can select the most suitable wash programme – the duration of the cycle is adapted according to the type of item to be washed.

The UX/Ultra range has been conceived to meet the needs of the most demanding sectors. Units in this line are equipped with a colour LCD display with advanced image sharpness to make the screen easy to read from any angle and distance. Machine information and status are displayed through intuitive messages, colour-coding and icons.

Furthermore, the UX includes a soft start function to protect fragile or delicate items, as well as a wide range of options to tailor the glass- and dishwashers to each user’s particular needs.
