Salary bills grow for catering equipment firms

More than two-thirds of executives in the catering equipment market have been given a pay rise within the last year, according to early findings from the Catering Insight and FEJ Job Satisfaction and Salary Survey.

With more than 150 responses received so far, exactly 70% of respondents say they have had a raise within the past year, but a sizeable 10% have not seen their wages increase for more than three years.

The full results of the Job Satisfaction and Salary Survey will be published in a forthcoming edition of Catering Insight, and will include average salaries for certain job titles and regions of the UK.

The survey remains open for the remainder of this week, and we urge everybody to take part in order to create the best possible data.

The survey is completely anonymous. It does not ask for any contact information and does not attach e-mail addresses to the surveys as they are completed so there is no way of knowing who has provided the answers.
