The Partwell Group, parent company of light equipment manufacturer, Row & Sons, has turned its hand to supplying service point screens.
The company’s Blackburn-based factory is now fabricating these cough screens, which can be used at foodservice sites.
The clear shields have solid easy clip sides for stability and are available in any size.
Partwell machines the panel with a pay slot at the bottom and attaches the standard interlocking sides for stability. The sides have sticking tabs to attach to counters where bonding can take place.
The manufacturer has also created basic office barriers that clip into base holders. The firm believes that the screen can be assembled simply, while multiple panels can be connected together along the length and on corners, allowing changes to be made to layouts. However, height is limited with this system.
Additional screw and double sided tape fixings can also be used to improve stability.
Partwell is also offering freestanding barriers in opaque or clear options, with the former able to be constructed from lightweight material which is printable. Fixing brackets are also available for this style.
The clear freestanding barriers can be constructed from what is said to be impact-proof transparent plastic.
Another alternative available is a suspended barrier that hangs on steel ropes and allows all counter space to be untouched.
