CESA has unveiled further speakers for its conference this year, to be held on 14-15 November at De Vere Cotswold Water Park in association with Cedabond, ENSE and the FCSI.
Making the keynote speech to round off the business day on the 15th will be the Rt Hon the Lord Robert Winston of Hammersmith, the eminent and popular scientist whose TV career has spanned a huge variety of shows, from the BAFTA-winning Human Body to Have I Got News for You. When he’s not entertaining, amongst other things Winston runs a gene transplant research programme and is regarded as the preeminent expert in reproductive medicine.
Chaired by broadcaster and economist Simon Jack, the conference will have the theme of ‘Evolving in a Disruptive Environment’.
An ‘Industry Titans’ session will see big hitters Klaus Goeldenbot, group chief executive of Nisbets; Steve Snower, CEO of Parts Town; and Alberto Zanata, CEO of professional products at AB Electrolux take to the stage.
As well as giving insights into the current economic climate, presentations throughout the day will cover a wide range of industry-specific topics such as the future of UK hospitality, foodservice trends in the pub sector, and developing catering equipment to match the latest food fashions.
Furthermore, Phil Williams, MD of Victor Manufacturing, will present the latest news on EFCEM (the European Federation of Catering Equipment Manufacturers), which could have an increasingly vital role to play in the context of Brexit.
The event is open to all foodservice industry professionals, including equipment manufacturers, suppliers and dealers, consultants and operators, while CESA members receive a discount.
