Stoke-on-Trent-based distributor Ritchie Catering Equipment has completed a project for local pub chain, The Parogon Group.
Ritchie’s worked with the team at Parogon to design, supply and install a kitchen, prep kitchen and pizza area for the group’s new site, The Red House at Lilleshall, Shropshire.
Jane Hopkinson, projects and heavy equipment sales at Ritchie’s, detailed: “We worked closely with the directors and chefs to ensure that our design had clearly defined zones for their chefs to make the flow of the local, sustainable and freshest seasonal ingredients from delivery to the plate effective and perfectly planned.
“Unlike their other sites, directors Phil, Chris and Richard wanted to have a show-stopping pizza oven on display in their restaurant. This is where we enlisted the expertise of LLK where Parogon and ourselves worked closely with the development chefs at LLK to select a state-of-the-art pizza oven which, once decorated, would be both eye-catching and functional for a busy venue.”
LLK’s sales executive Kyle Freeman commented: “Working on this project alongside Ritchie’s has been a pleasure.
“The oven and the site look amazing and shows the fruits of some hard labour. Customers will be amazed when they witness the bespoke finish of this pizza oven which has been finished to a high standard like the rest of this project.

Blue Seal provided the main cookline for the kitchen, with Rational supplying the combi ovens. Foster refrigeration was used, as well as Gamko bottle coolers and IMC’s bar tender bar units.
Maidaid provided a dishwasher, glasswasher and ice machine, with a further ice machine supplied by Hoshizaki.
Fabrication and extraction systems were completed by Inox Fabrications.
Hopkinson concluded: “Working with customers all over the UK, it is a welcome change working with people at venues that we can enjoy ourselves with our families outside of business hours.
