RH Hall Fabrications has ramped up its range of factory equipment in a move to increase its capabilities and allow for further growth, off the back of a successful year of business.
Throughout 2017 the company has gained a number of new customers and contracts, leading to an increase in orders and output required.
To ensure demands are met and allow for further improvements to production, investment has been made in additional machinery to enhance the existing set up.
General manager, Kevin Shepherd, said: “This new equipment gives us the opportunity to move our overall capacity forward by increasing our stainless steel cutting ability, improving quality with an additional high spec laser cutter and also streamline our production by removing old equipment.”
There are now two identical machines in place, with CNC programmes that can be shared between the two by USB.
The company has also added a new 2kW laser cutter, suitable for cutting stainless steel up to 6mm thick. This will work alongside its existing laser cutter which will continue to be used for smaller production items.
Shepherd added: “Going forward we will continue with improvements to our work place organisation project and 5S programme, as well as reviewing our welding and grinding operations, to ensure we are continually improving our service and capabilities.”
