Retigo UK has announced a return to physical Live Cooking demonstrations.
Held within the training kitchens at First Choice Group’s Cannock head offices, the Live Cooking demonstrations will be both its first physical events to be held this year and the first since Retigo UK became a wholly autonomous subsidiary.
The Blue Vision combi ovens will be put to through their paces, whilst there will also be opportunities to learn more about the Orange Vision Plus and Delimaster ovens, both of which were launched last year.
Commencing on 18 March and thereafter held on at least a monthly basis, the Live Cooking demonstrations will allow both distributors and operator to experience for themselves the range of combination ovens.
Retigo UK’s Simon Callus commented: “Whilst our distributor partners and operator clients have benefited from the hugely successful and engaging webinars and livestreaming cooking demonstrations held by our colleagues at Retigo’s HQ, nothing compares to the opportunity to experience first-hand the ability of our ovens, whilst also benefiting from sampling the food yourselves.”
Retigo UK’s Rob Gibson added: “Our Live Cooking demonstrations can also be tailored to our clients’ requirements, be this a choice in menu or food, ensuring the whole event is as relevant and beneficial as possible.”
All Live Cooking demonstrations will be held in line with the latest government guidelines regarding Covid-19, including strict adherence to social distancing, enhanced cleaning and a limit to the number of people able to attend. One such measure for example is that all clients will have their own tables with protective screens.
The return to Live Cooking demonstrations comes on the back of the new partnership between Retigo and Commercial Catering Products (CCP) which Callus formed with Gibson in July 2020. CCP act both as agents for Retigo and in cooperation with other members of Retigo UK team manage the sales for the Czech-based manufacturer across the UK. Retigo UK provides a package of support, including stock holding, ovens and spare parts as well as a Technical Services Division, which is headed up by technical services manager Mike Griffiths.
Aneta Halamickova, Retigo UK director commented: “Despite the challenges of the past year, we’ve been greatly encouraged by the progress made by the whole Retigo UK team. It’s clear that our ovens, packed full of technology that enhances performance, coupled with exceptionally competitive pricing and a UK-based service team strongly resonates with the UK. We remain wholly committed to the UK market and are excited by what the future holds for us all.”
Retigo UK also has other demonstration sites in North Wales and London.
