Retigo has utilised the Host Milan trade show to unveil Combionline, a portal to connect its combi ovens to a network.
The intuitive controls allow end users to access combi displays, control them remotely, manage recipes, download operational data or update software, all from any mobile phone, tablet or laptop.
In the works for the last 2 years, the platform can also enable servicing firms to connect to combi ovens remotely and diagnose faults, while notifications can be set up to alert technicians to any issues.
Chefs can easily upload selected recipes to any connected device, with each recipe detailing the settings required on the Retigo oven.
Operators can manage their whole estate of Retigo appliances through the portal, checking the combi’s current status, such as how much time is left until the end of the current cooking process. Combionline also displays operational statistics, with values such as water or energy consumption displayed in clear graphs.
The home screen of Blue Vision combi ovens can be edited from the operator’s device, and then a new profile can be uploaded to any number of combi ovens connected to the user account. Three profile levels are available: owner/admin, manager and operator.
Information such as cooking programs, HACCP data or operational records and statistics are stored securely and backed up automatically on a server.
The Retigo Combionline system is available for Blue Vision, Orange Vision Plus and DeliMaster ovens. All units from the current generation of Vision combi ovens (since May 2016) can be connected to the portal, by LAN cable or by a special nano router to a local wifi network.
