Retigo ramps up offering for education market

Retigo insists school caterers won’t be left disappointed by its new range of combi ovens as the line has been designed specifically for the education market.

The Czech-based company, which has been strengthening its UK presence over the last three years, says its engineers have developed the most sophisticated combi it has ever produced for the schools market.

With primary schools especially gearing up to cope with increased demand from September, the firm insists the ‘LunchBox’ range provides an ideal option for school caterers moving forward.

Sales manager, Tomas Vanek, said: “Retigo LunchBox offers all features you would expect from a cost-effective combi-oven, yet contains extras such as pre-programmed recipes for the most popular school meal dishes — which we discussed with school kitchen staff across the UK — and an automatic cleaning will certainly attract many school canteens managers.

Vanek said that the value of the inclusive automatic cleaning function alone was worth £720.

The range features half a dozen models to suit schools of all sizes. The LunchBox 623 is the smallest combi with a capacity of 30-50 meals, while the LunchBox 2021 is the largest and can produce 600-900 meals.

“We are so confident that demand for this product will be enormous that we have stocked up on all LunchBox sizes and are able to deliver within two weeks straight from the factory,” said Vanek.

He added that several promotions would also be available, so dealers can sign up for its newsletter here.
