Retigo forced to raise spares prices

Increasing wages in Retigo's home country, Czech Republic, have forced it to raise spares prices.

Combi oven specialist Retigo has announced it is raising its spare parts prices from 1 April.

Many of the prices had remained the same over the last 5 years, but the Czech-based manufacturer feels it now has to issue a new price list.

It detailed that the price modifications have been mainly caused by a 20% average wage increase in the Czech Republic between 2015 and 2018, an 8.7% inflation rate in the country between 2015 and 2019, as well as a 5.5% inflation rate in the European Union over the same period.

New spare parts price lists valid from 1 April are available upon request from the manufacturer. Until the end of March, spares can be ordered based on current prices.
