Combination oven manufacturer Retigo has revealed its UK subsidiary has joined catering equipment buying consortium Cedabond.
This move follows a number of strategic new partnerships Retigo UK has recently undertaken to strengthen its service proposition within the industry.
Retigo UK director Aneta Halamickova, who built up the UK team, pointed out how important finding the right people for the company is: “Joining Cedabond is a significant milestone in our ambitious plans to continue to develop our reputation in the UK.
“We would hardly achieve this kind of agreement without Rob Gibson and Simon Callus who have successfully driven our sales since July 2020. Thanks to them and our technical support team lead by Mike Griffiths, Retigo UK is growing fast.”
Simon Callus, Retigo UK sales director commented: “There is perfect synergy between Retigo and Cedabond, something that was immediately clear when we met Cedabond commercial director Mark Kendall and his team.”
Fellow sales director Rob Gibson continued: “Cedabond has an outstanding reputation and we are confident that the exclusive offers afforded to all of its members will further strengthen Retigo’s reputation in the UK.”
Kendall added: “Firstly, any new partners we engage with have to show a significant benefit to our members and likewise our portfolio. To that end we entered into discussions with Rob and Simon and are delighted to welcome them and Retigo to Cedabond.
“The strength and diversity in our supply chain is extremely important and more so as the industry slowly emerges from one of the most challenging periods imaginable, Retigo’s extensive product portfolio, coupled with a UK based sales and technical support team, will offer our members a compelling choice.”
Retigo UK operates with a sales office in the Midlands and stock warehouse in North Wales where the showroom and technical training centre are. Additionally, there are three more demo kitchens where the live cooking demonstrations are now being held, one in Cannock and two in London.
