Retigo has welcomed Mike Griffiths as UK technical support manager.
He will be responsible for all technical support, and has already been working on improvements and adjusting processes.
Griffiths will also manage a dedicated support desk, offering a complete package of pre- and after-sales support and technical advice.
He commented: “I have a passion for finding solutions for customers needs, which led me to finding the Retigo brand. I knew Retigo were different when I saw my first Retigo combi oven, the quality of the build, the attention to detail and the cooking results were perfect.
“The whole Retigo experience is different compared with other manufacturers; the team at Retigo are amazing and their attitude towards distributors and customers is second to none. Nothing is too much trouble; if it’s possible then Retigo make it happen; we share the same passion which led me into the role I have today.
“Working together with Retigo in the UK strengthens its presence. Using my experience, we look forward to exceptional UK technical support and growth over the coming years.”
The combi oven manufacturer’s MD, Norbert Pelc, said: “It is very important to offer technical support. Each request is an important as the next and this, I think, must be done by someone knowledgeable and reliable, using our experience. Mike Griffiths is exactly the right person for this.”
Retigo has also recruited more chefs experienced with its appliances to provide the training, a service which is free of charge for its customers.
The Czech-based combi oven brand appointed CCP as its sole UK sales agent last month, based on feedback from distributors and end users to invest into the UK market to improve service levels.
CCP will also provide aftersales training, which will be undertaken by its own in-house UK chefs who are well versed in the full product range and will be part of the team within CCP supporting the brand.
On the appointment of CCP as UK sales agent, with Rob Gibson and Simon Callus as directors, Pelc added: “We are very excited to have Rob and Simon on board. Having two experienced managers working closely with Retigo is crucial for Retigo’s UK transformation, resulting in extended support and presence in the UK.”
