Remote service tool launched by warewasher manufacturer


Wexiödisk has launched a web service tool which can be fitted to its hood machines, rack conveyors and flight machines.

The system connects wirelessly allowing the operator to monitor and download fully compliant HACCP reports fulfilling many of the laborious tasks which have traditionally been undertaken manually.

it also monitors the water temperature in the wash cycle and the rinse cycle as well as observing the health and effectiveness of many of the vital components within the appliance.

Recorded on an individual wash basis, the operator and relevant food safety organisations are able to ensure the maximum levels of hygiene on a continued basis.

Through a dedicated IP address created for each unit, Wexiödisk engineers are able to identify any potential faults with an appliance before a problem arises, significantly enhancing first time fix results, reducing downtime and enabling the maintenance team to provide a pro-active servicing programme to all operators.

Simon Frost, UK & Ireland country manager for Wexiödisk explains how the web service tool isn’t only able to provide a sound basis to monitor wash temperatures but also provides an effective way of managing ongoing servicing and repairs

“The Web Service Tool provides a simple but effective solution to this need, detailing individual wash temperatures at numerous key stages during a cycle. With the ability to access fully complaint HACCP reports remotely from any PC or mobile device, the tool gives the operator all that’s needed to ensure ongoing excellent hygiene levels.

“In addition to this, the remote accessing capability allows Wexiödisk engineers to diagnose faults or identify potential problems before they arise.

From here, they are able to either override the problem or arrive on site with the necessary spare parts to ensure a virtually 100% first time fix result, significantly reducing downtime of an essential kitchen appliance.”

Having recently undertaken a comprehensive trial phase in Europe, the web service tool is available across many of the appliances in the extensive Wexiödisk range.
