Regale recruits manager to develop new line

Gosport microwave specialist Regale has beefed up its team after recently becoming one of two companies to take on the distribution rights for Daewoo commercial microwaves.

Regale has named Dan Gregory-Miles as its new business development manager to promote the Daewoo range and other brands that the company offers.

Gregory-Miles knows the Daewoo product well after working as a sales manager at Valera, which was distributing the line before it went into administration.

Regale’s sister company, Cavity Protection Systems, is currently in the process of manufacturing cavity liners for the new Daewoo microwaves, which make them easier to clean and protect the internal components.

Gregory-Miles said: “I am very excited about my new role and look forward to working alongside customers to introduce the Daewoo range into the industry, while highlighting the merits of the cavity liner. The Daewoo line up is a highly competitive range with great advantages over its competition.”

Cavity Protections Systems holds the sole patent for the cavity liners, which will be available in Daewoo machines in early 2013. It also manufactures cavity liners for Panasonic and Sharp models, with more than 10,000 in the market already.
