Filta Group, specialist in oil and grease management systems, has brought on board Ray Donovan to provide technical support for both dealers and end users in the north of England.
He is the new catering sector manager for the region. Donovan has joined the sales team to provide advice and knowledge on Filta’s solutions for tackling mounting environmental challenges.
He brings with him a wealth of experience, serving 24 years as an Army chef before going on to work in the catering equipment industry with major brands including Rational, Electrolux and Merrychef.
Donovan said: “The catering industry is facing enormous environmental challenges and if you are investing in systems to combat these challenges, it’s imperative you have the right technical support.
“I look forward to helping distributors have a greater understanding of Filta’s solutions and which are best for certain operations, and supporting caterers once systems are in place.”
Filta MD Edward Palin commented: “FOG equipment specification is an increasingly technical consideration for a project; you need to understand not just FOG but flow rates and local water utility requirements.
“Ray will be on hand to help dealers with sizing and also to advise what equipment is suitable within different regions. We welcome Ray into his new role.”
